CUGH will work with its members through committees that address priority issues such as:
Supporting the development of global health curricula, core competencies and interdisciplinary strategies.
Facilitating administrative functions, processes, and services to effectively support the global health enterprise.
Promoting the role of universities in global health requires a clear voice capable of articulating issues, defining pathways to solutions, and suggesting policies. This committee will draft the direction and plans of action to best support universities in their teaching, research and service activities aimed at improving health worldwide.
CUGH recognizes that in order to make its global health initiatives and partnerships viable and sustainable over time it needs to build a strong core comprising engaged members that share the CUGH vision. The Membership Committee will strive to build that membership core consistent with the CUGH mission.
